For years losing weight was a war unwinable! I was meager because the pre-teens and I of the child at a young age then we have gained much weight. I tried everything to delete it without profit. Diet of cabbage soup, low calorie diet, a diet low in fat, low-fat percentage - the low-calorie diet, the starvation diet, moderate exersize with a good diet blanced, is the rx a diet of pills no, rx of diet pills. The only thing I have ever used that helped me lose weight was taken off the market! Xenedrine with Effedra. Xenedrine EFX me it does nothing for! With the old Xenedrine lose about 5-8lbs a week. I assume that the problem is metabolic but not safe. I was considered a bad thyroid and nothing in that area. I'm getting very frustrated living a "healthy" lifestyle but still look to the food industry Junky! I eat many fruits and nuts and not drink anything but water and discover the ***** juice. I don 't know what else to try and I don' t know why I can 't lose the weight. Exersize (cardio) about an hour a day Normaly stick with a diet for 6months unless they're getting results from it then that attack with it until continu Aare obtain good results. I don 't want to lose 30lbs a month that is only rediculious but I want to lose 10lbs at least a month. Stare it is expensive and the diet doesn 'benefits of flexibility because of t continue?

Go to see an endocrinologist, they can see if something else is wrong with your metabolism. Have you tried slimquik? That’s supposed to help women lose weight. The best way to boost your metabolism is to not starve yourself, eat 4 300 calorie meals a day, and exercise, that should help

Wow, are you serious? What type of exercise? Go run and drink nothing but water.

How long did you stay on these diets? A few months each?

When i need to lose some I just stop drinking anything carbonated, and run every other night and stay away from obvious junk food like doritos etc.

How long have you been doing this?It takes a while to see the results so you need to keep on eating healthy to loose weight.
Don’t expect to loose weight fast. That is just not healthy.Good luck.

You mention almost everything. Please don’t mind the harsh language becuase that you need a reality check. I think you are too lazy. YOU didin’t mention excercise. i know how you feel becuase I was the same way. Here is what helped me and maybe you can do.

    1. Go online and find out how much weight you need to lose. Tons of websites give your weight by height, or how much you are suppose to weigh based on your height. So that means SET A GOAL.
    2. Have a mind set and commitment that you are on a long long haul for alteast 4-6 months of hard work and self control.
    3. Take a gym class if you are student or take a soccer class. If not then, take a gym membership..
    4. Have a gym buddy…who will have same goals as you do..In this process you need a good dependable person who will encourage you and push you if want to quit.
    5. Start running from low distances to high. 1 mile to 5.
    6. STICK to your diet of vegetables but do eat some meat (I am vegetarian so I took protien shakes). CUT way down on your eating out.
    7. Drink one glass or water before you start any meal. Eat 3 times a day.
    8. Don’t be discourage if your weight increases at first becuase what happens is that your body starts to build muscle. It increases your weight but that muscle will start eating the fat away. You will start seeing the results in weeks. But the main point is to stick to your commitment and diet.

GOOD LUCK. I hope that works for you…

wow, i think you just mirrored my life (excpet the Xenedrine, made me too jittery)

I too have struggled with this exact same thing. You should have you thyroid still checked periodically because its not always something they will find right away ( i know they have been testing me for yrs and still are)

What has worked for me. I did weight watchers for a 3 mo period after my 2nd baby. I did consistantly loose weight on a healthy basis, it taught me alot about what my body needed and now that i am getting serious about loosing weight I have started applying their principles to my everyday and i have lost 5 lbs.

You have to find what works for your body as far as how many calories you need in one day to loose weight, There are all kinds of calorie counters on line and websites that can help you pinpoint what you need without having to join or pay.

For me i had to incorprate weight training and pilates and i am not talking about bulking up im talkin toning up low weights high reps, if you dont like weights bands work as well.

Main thing is finding out what your body needs as far as how many calories per day for you to loose, if you dont get enought your body will go into starvation mode and store fat, if you eat too many on a constant basis we wont loose either
Good Luck and I hope this helps you.

If you are serious about losing weight then forget about pills and fad diets and focus on your health. You need to follow only a few simple rules and not expect big changes over night. Also, try not to focus on your weight, instead think about your measurements and percentage of body fat. Drink only water. Eat lean protein, and lots of veggies, low fat dairy, some fruit, but WATCH PORTION SIZES!! Seriously!! Only eat till you’re not hungry anymore, not till your full and slow down when you eat, chew your food well so your body is able to absorb the nutrients well. Also, when you are doing your cardio, you need to be sure that you are really getting your heart rate where it needs to be. Most cardio machines will tell you where your range is depending on age and so on….
good luck, I know it isn’t easy but stick to it and gain the rewards and lose the fat!!!

    Hi Elizabeth,

The problem with dieting is as soon as you stop your diet you eventually put the weight back on again. Yo-yo dieting causes such a metabolism change in your body that you will find a greater reduction in calories is needed to maintain your new weight.

Use a natural eating style to lose weight. With this program you can eat 4 regular meals each day, there is no limit to the number of different foods you can eat at a single meal, you never go hungry. You will lose weight.

Thousands of people worldwide can attest to the success of this natural eating program as the best way to lose weight permanently.

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of toxins. Toxins come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things. The toxins get stored in the fat in our body. To get rid of the fat, we have to get rid of the toxins by cleansing the body. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. I did Jenny Craig, Weight Watcher and Medifast. If you want to learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. This was the first time I ever did a cleanse, it was easy and I feel better. Good luck whatever you decide to do!
