Around what age is it OK to leave a child alone in a bath to play?

I 'm who does not speak to a child? Head groom, I 'm asking about when it 's approval to leave for periods of the bathroom in short (which goes inside to check them regularly) while the child is playing in the bathroom. And that around?

Probably age 5 by which time they are old enough to take a shower. I would never leave a child unattended in a bath tub just like you wouldn’t leave them alone around any body of water. I would say age 4 or 5 but not for more than one minute.

5 ish is good. Check on them every 30-60 seconds. Also, at 5, they should be able to clean themselves pretty well.. just supervise.

Depends. There are more dangers involved than drowning. For example, if the child would turn the hot water on accidentally or on purpose and the water was hot enough to scald them. Or the child might try to get out of the bathtub and fall. So, what I’m trying to say is that only you can judge whether your child is ready to be left alone in the bath.

By age 4, most kids want their privacy, especially little girls.

five. There was a case of a four year old who drowned in 2 inches of water. Don’t ask me how.
I don’t know, all I know is that it happened.

I’m pretty tough on parental responsibilities, and I’ve *always* believed that you don’t leave them alone in the bath to play until they are old enough to be in the bath alone to clean themselves.

We don’t have a bath but our 4 and 6 yr old take showers by themselves and clean themselves. All I do is turn on the water and put some soap in a cup. They wash themselves and when the timer goes off they turn off the water grab a towel, dry off and come out. They love it cause it gives them alone time.We do hear them if they hollor so we don’t check on them that often.

I would say when either the child is completely potty trained or 5 years old depending on their emotional and physical development. I mean a child who can’t take care of himself and who cannot stand up if the water becomes bothersome or he feels uneasy should not be left alone but a 5 year old normally needs some extent of privacy.
