My son plays his Leapster video games for 30 - 45 minutes on days that he chooses to play it (maybe 3 or 4 times a week). No, he does not have behavior issues after playing them. They are all educational, so……

I am 28 with an almost 8 year old son. I usually allow him a maximum of 3 hours of gametime, give or take an hour. The only changes I’ve seen in him is knowledge of the games. I let him play World of Warcraft, and he loves it, maybe too much. As long as you let them play age appropriate games, they will be fine. The kids that have problems after playing games, have problems anyways. Videogames do not cause violence. Since 1990 violence and crimes have dropped 30% and that is when home videogames started to become popular.

He plays all he wants which is about 3 hours a day and he doesn’t act any different after he is done with playing.

My son is 5 and I have recently let him play on the PS2. The only game he plays is Chicken Little and I just bought Army Men with the little toy army soldiers. I have noticed that his behavior changes when he plays so I am now cutting out video games until he gets a little older. His eyes become glazed just after 10 minutes and his hearbeat also begins to race. (Not sure why that happens.) But the kicker was the other day when he peed his pants because he was so enthralled with the game. That is why my husband and I have taken video games away from him until he is more mature enough to play.
