Im about 8 or 9 years Gradica playing something the god of war. I know someone who is doing this and ive has warned against it, but he does not seem to think that everything has the effect on the child. Pu? have a negative effect on the sense that the child develops the game or just harden hep? the kid out?

Obsession with death is one major drawback to allowig this. Even adults have problems with stuff like that so, a child has even more.

The kid will copy the fighting moves thinking their cool. If theres cursing then maybe theyll start cursing.

i used to play those games when i was that age (my parents didnt know i got the games off my brother)
all these games and ones like grand theft auto (where u are literally killing people and stealing there cars) desensitizes kids
im 14 now and i have no emotions..
im not going to go out and kill someone or anything like that
but i see lots of gruesome stuff on tv and it doesnt affect me in the slightest
kids get so used to killing fictional people in games and they grow up confused between fantasy and reality

So long as the kid doesn’t have any preexisting emotional problems, there won’t be any issue with playing any video games. Most people have no problems separating reality and fantasy.

my little brother has been playing M rated games since he was 8, and watching R rated movies since he was nine, and MA movies since 10, and is the worst 11 year old i know. he’s really rude, has a bad temper, is very destructive and likes fighting. i don’t advise that ANYONE let their kids play M rated games until they know they can handle them.
